Biography
Scott has been passionate about the intersection of entrepreneurship and engineering since childhood.
His career path led to projects with large blue chip companies including Boeing Satellite Systems and Air Liquide, a French multinational supplier of industrial gases. On the side he performed copy editing services for professionals in the psychology, legal, scientific, and literary fields.
Eventually Scott gravitated toward smaller businesses to maximize his impact on the bottom line. After several years as a project manager for an electromechanical design firm, he orchestrated the company’s merger and vertical integration with a local PCB manufacturing company. Here he honed his specialty in operations by writing standard operating procedures, technical manuals, and training materials to solidify institutional. Scott’s also serves as a financial analyst and advisor for Independent Capital Management, providing operational consulting for cannabis cultivation companies as well as structuring real-estate ventures.
When he is not tinkering at his home workshop or reading, Scott is an avid outdoorsman and sailor.
