About Nina Hickox
Peter has over 30 years’ experience managing a direct mail/catalog business – selling home, electronics, health and beauty, luggage, toys, seasonal decor, clothing, accessories and as “As Seen on TV” products. He started Haband’s Direct Mail/Catalog Home Division; growing it to a $40M per year business. From sourcing products directly from China, India, Pakistan or inspecting factories or testing 1000’s of products, Peter has been a trusted partner to many leading brands (and a regular fixture at most major trade shows). Peter now works with a select group of clients to identify specific “white space” opportunities and help grow their businesses profitably.
Biography
Nina Hickox is a Los Angeles–based coordinator, paralegal, and multimedia producer whose career spans law, design, media, and international real estate. She currently works with the Asian Pacific Probation Association and serves as coordinator and host of the All American Asian podcast, amplifying Asian American voices and cross-cultural dialogue.
Fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and German, Nina’s global perspective was shaped through extensive professional work in Hong Kong, China, the UK, and the United States. She worked for FPS Savills International Hong Kong in the luxury residential sector and has additional experience across Los Angeles and London real estate, serving high-net-worth domestic and international clients, including major global institutions such as HSBC, JP Morgan, and Morgan Stanley.
Nina holds an Honors Bachelor of Science and a Master’s degree, and is a UCLA Distinction Certificate holder. Alongside her nonprofit and media work, she is an experienced paralegal supporting private attorneys in family law, civil, and probate litigation in Los Angeles. She brings together legal precision, cultural fluency, and a designer’s eye—moving easily between boardrooms, court filings, and 中文 conversations.
